To celebrate its fifth year of opening to the public, the Espace Monte-Cristo, the Parisian headquarters of the Villa Datris Foundation, presents the exhibition "Cinétique! La Sculpture en Mouvement" until December 11, 2022, the exhibition reveals the heart of its Collection, bringing together more than 35 sculptures by French and international artists.
On the occasion of this celebration, the Venezuelan artist Manuel Mérida presents two installations, one interior and one exterior, over 8 meters high. Entitled "Ordre" and "Désordre", this Carte Blanche is the object of a confrontation between these two antagonistic terms, where the apparent disorganization opposes the order of the monochromatic circles of Mérida and this regularity of the white and red stripes.
