On May 6, "Quick Tide" was inaugurated, the most recent work by artist Felipe Pantone in "The Tide", the first elevated linear park in London, United Kingdom. The acclaimed artist transformed one of the halls in the area into an attractive trip to the Greenwich Peninsula.
This work installed in public space incorporates his #SubtractiveVariability series and he designed it using a single radial gradient contained within a square, in cyan, magenta and yellow. By moving and rotating the same image throughout the structure, Felipe obtained infinite combinations of the spectrum of visible colors. These details are usually easy to find as chromatic aberrations in prints by looking under the loupe; Pantone describes it as fantastic to be able to see this phenomenon in this installation on such a massive scale.
