MIAMI, FLORIDA, EEUU
For the Pinta Miami 2016 Fair, Marión Art Gallery has prepared a selection of artists in the field of geometric abstraction, with works by Carlos Cruz-Diez, Klaus Staudt, Macaparana and Cisco Merel. The sample includes both recent works and historical pieces, which gives an overview and development of certain problems around the perception and participation of the spectator.
But undoubtedly the highlight of our participation in the fair is the installation of a great Chromo-interfering Environment, a great setting designed by Cruz-Diez in 1974 and that since then has been installed in important and select museums and artistic events in different cities of the world. world.
The Chromo-interfering Environments create in space a situation of immateriality, transfiguration and ambiguity of color through movement. The projection of color frames in constant movement on people and objects makes them transparent and they virtually change shape and condition, turning them into actors and authors of an event in time and space.
