Overview
Carlos Cruz-Diez is one of the great figures of contemporary art, especially kinetic and optical art. Cruz-Diez’s work revolves around color conceived as an autonomous reality, devoid of anecdotes, which evolves in real time and space. In his works, color is presented as a reality that can exist without the form and even without the help of support.
On this occasion and as a celebration of the 90th anniversary of Cruz-Diez, Marión Art Gallery has prepared this exhibition in his honor, in which a set of works produced between Paris and Panama will be exhibited, covering the various paths of his plastic research.
