BARKS: Damián Hernández
Damián Hernández (Argentina, 1974) presents part of a photographic investigation that he has been developing over the last few years, in which he focuses on the patterns and colors of tree barks from different parts of the world.
The unusual coloring of these barks and the artistic perspective adopted by the photographer, produce surprising images, which seem the result of camera tricks or digital editing. However, these are photographs that have not been retouched or manipulated, in which we can see the perfection of nature captured by an artist’s gaze.
