Overview
Carlos Medina is an artist with extensive experience in the field of plastic and sculptural research. In the development of his work, he has dedicated himself to exploring the various possibilities of the material world, working with different materials and producing different plastic solutions for each of them.
Thus, he has faced the solidity and technical demand of Carrara marble, the porous fragility of the Cumarebo stone, the textures and consistencies of multiple woods, the lightness of paper, the purity of metal and even experimentation with contemporary industrial materials. This has resulted in a work that at first glance may seem heterogeneous, although it maintains a solid consistency as a whole after its apparent diversity.
