Seeking to maintain cultural events every Sunday as we have always done, we present our Open Sunday Live, an initiative that consists of transmitting through Instagram Live a weekly conversation with an important guest from the art world, with whom we can enjoy a different moment from the comfort of our homes.
Last Sunday, April 26, we premiered the first Open Sunday Live, to celebrate our 10 years of experience through the Instagram account of Gabriel Cruz, Director of the gallery.
Our first guest was the teacher Rafael Barrios, who told us interesting anecdotes about his evolution as an artist of a new generation, the close relationship with the teachers Jesús Soto and Carlos Cruz-Diez, as well as with the family of the latter, their perception of the monumental works of Caracas, a realistic approach to the challenges that were presented to him in the realization of his famous project in Park Avenue (New York) and finally, his experience working in the Articruz workshop and what this meeting space means for all artists from Panama and the world.
