Rachel Perry Tokyo, Japón, b. 1962.
She is an American artist born in Japan, she has developed a conceptual work in installations, sculptures, photographs, paper, performance and videos in which she explores the identity implications of consumer culture.
Her work finds a poetic and artistic content in seemingly insignificant elements of daily life, in a clean and minimalist aesthetic.
Her work is part of important public and private collections around the world, including the Museum of Fine Arts and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and the List Visual Arts Center at MIT.
