Biography
Mr Brainwash is the pseudonym of French artist Thierry Getta. He is a street artist associated with other great figures of Street Art such as Banksy, Shepard Fairey or Invader.
His artistic identity has been questioned, with claims that Mr. Brainwash is actually a character played by Getta but created by Banksy and Fairey. It has even been claimed that Mr. Brainwash and Banksy could be the same person.
In his work he mixes the language of Pop Art with elements of street art and illegal graffiti.
