Marcello Morandini Mantua, Italy, b. 1940.
Italian artist, architect, sculptor and graphic designer, trained at the Brera Academy in Milan. Morandini has developed a multifaceted and varied work, in which the pure forms, the repetition of elements and the frequent use of black and white serve to generate patterns and volumes.
In 1962 he began his artistic research and by 1968 he had already had important exhibitions and had been invited to the Biennials of Sao Paulo and Venice, where he participated with a solo exhibition.
He has carried out important projects of integration of art in architecture and collaborations with architectural studios, as well as recognized works in the field of graphic and industrial design.
